A Russian tank destroyed the offices of Caritas which had been collecting and distributing aid to those affected by the war in Ukraine.
A Russian tank fired on the offices of Caritas Ukraine in the besieged city of Mariupol, leaving seven dead, including two employees, reported to the charity.
Caritas-Spes, the charitable mission of the Latin Rite Catholic bishops of Ukraine announced the deaths of their staff members in a Twitter post on Monday.
“We received bad news: our Caritas office in Mariupol was shot from a tank and people were there at the time. Seven people were killed, including two women staff members of Caritas Mariupol,” read the post.
